So Close - Arthur/Gwen (Merlin)

An Arthur/Gwen fanvid to Jon McLaughlin's "So Close" (from the film "Enchanted"). It's a fairly simple video to follow: Arthur and Gwen are clearly in love with each other and have even admitted these feelings (albeit in a much more subtle manner in Gwen's case), yet their difference in social status makes any relationship between the two quite impossible. As the song says, they're so close, and still so far.

So clearly I'm on a bit of an Arwen vidding streak...but after last week's epic episode can anyone really blame me? This couple is proving to be INCREDIBLY epic, and they constantly steal my heart. Don't worry, B/Br fans, however (if any of you are reading this)! I'm still working on Brave Face as well as a secret other B/Br fanvid. I hope to release both soon. I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to post Brave Face - I tend to get carried away with new fandoms, and the Merlin fandom (or more specifically the Arthur/Gwen ship) has captured my attention in a way that no other fandom/ship has done since Harry Potter and Harry/Hermione. I STILL LOVE BONES AND B/BR, THOUGH!!

Hopefully the dialogue is loud enough, but since I included SO much in this video I thought I'd list the quotes for you:

The three dislikes are from people who cryed :'(

We know there's a happy ending for them- but right now it's sooo saaaddddddd.

Now that the third season is out the scene of Gwen being crowned queen (in Morgana's vision's) would be a great thing to add in during one of "so close to reaching that famous happy ending" blips.

Just a suggestion. :)

@tudorrose4456 I'm a fan of Arthur/Guinevere in the legends as well! Suppose I get it from my mother (as much as she adored Lancelot, she always had an A/G bias when she told me the legends! ;-D). And aw, thank you so much!! That's ridiculously kind of you. <3 <3

@SVEvenstar lol. That he is. I do hope he finds someone on the show, since I'd rather he and Gwen not get together. I love Arthur/Gwen, even from the legends. And by the way, this is my favorite fanvid I've seen of these two. The song is perfect, the added soundbites are awesome... Really, this is wonderful.

@tudorrose4456 LOLLLL. Seriously laughing out loud. Poor Lancelot! Can't even be angry with him for that. =P Though I guess now he knows not to abandon girls in the middle of the woods. Not the best courting strategy. Hopefully he'll find someone else! He's too beautiful to be left on his own. ;-D
