I am a newbie at quilting but not at sewing however ihae done this jellyroll thing and i ended up with different sizes. how do i square up my blocks. and will it take away the affect of the block when you square up?

If the triangle is large enough and has a 45 degree angle, you should be able to line it up the same (following the seam lines.)
