IndiVision: Lindy Davies - Tools For Performance

Lindy Davies is a prolific actress, actor trainer, director and performance consultant. She has worked for many years with Academy Award nominated actress Julie Christie, whose recent performance in Sarah Polley's Away From Her won a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, a SAG Award, a Critics Circle Award and many others. From '95 to 2007, she was Head of Drama at the Victorian College of the Arts.

At the IndiVision Project Lab 2008, Lindy was a Performance Consultant and here shares different ways to approach working with actors to elicit compelling screen performances.

Ruth Ballinger yay! I am sure she, like most good actresses who have appeared in Prisoner, doesn't like to be remembered specifically for her role in the series. The thing is though, Prisoner had some of the most powerful characters in any series ever, including shows from across the Atlantic here in the States and in my home country of England. Ruth Ballinger was such a great character, and I hope that Lindy is somewhat proud for achieving that role, because it was a great one :)
