country style ham steaks with potatoes and cauliflower cheese.

for ham:
1 2lb ham steak
3 potatoes (sliced thin)
1 onion (sliced)
2 cups milk
salt and pepper
thyme

for Cauliflower Cheese
cauliflower
2 cups milk
3 tbspns butter
3 tbspns flour
1 cup cheese
1 cup bread crumbs (or crushed up potato chips)

these were recipes that i knew before, but the ingedients are from some random websites i found by googling the names of the food.

this meal fed three people, with some leftovers, by the way.

  • You put to much salt in everything, salt is already in your food man! That chemical, ham steak is a sodium, nitrate, fatty monster. (Next time you buy one, look at the ingredients on the label)

  • at herondale farm, all our animals are organic and have no chemicals. to add to that, out ham steaks, hams, bacon, smoked pork chops to not have any nitrates nitrites or sodium added to them. plus since i personally raised these pigs i would have an idea of the ingredients: PORK

  • So Chef Jack, how many people does this serve.

    Also I dont think Bauer would make this, he running out of thyme.

  • this fed three people, and there was a little leftovers. now that you mention it, i don't think i've ever seen jack bauer eat anything at all!
