"Georgia On My Mind" is a gorgeous ballad that I think works really well on harmonica.

  • Hi Phil, It is fantastic to see players like yourself starting to put great playing videos on YouTube. In countries where chromatic players are lacking it helps us to learn from what you do. Thanks for that. 5 Stars. Cheers from Australia, Warren.

  • Hey Warren...I really appreciate your comments. Music has a way of transmitting positive sound waves, near and far! So glad it reached you in Australia. Thanks again, dude.

  • very nice

  • Phil

How many years did you take to play this level of Chromatic harp = I first found you in YouTube playing Wave, then tonight Sleepwalk, Misty and so many more. I am inspired by yr rendition of Georgia on My Mind very much. Thanks. Peter

  • old but sweet

  • ~Highly enjoyable! --that German Hohner 64-reed chromonic 280-'C' blends so beautifully with the lovely guitar accompaniment... -thankYou

  • Great job, Phil! But what else would I expect? Dan B

  • @fAtmAnGOodIes Who's 'mare'? Phil's a friend and plays everything on a key of C chromatic. But he's an exceptional player who does everything by ear and can create arrangements in his head. There's so much more to his playing than most people realize. I'm lucky enough to have him work with me at our Club meetings - where he doesn't mind if I use other keyed chromatics (such as A & Bb) if they make life easier and work for me. Even if he doesn't know a tune initially, in 10 mins. he'll nail it.

  • Hi mare. I was just wondering if you could suggest the best key to get for someone who is interested in learning the kind or tunes you play? Thanks allot.

    Newton.

  • mannnn that was absolutely beautiful and soulful :D

  • Great sound!

  • Beautiful. What a great harmonica song.

Your many Jazz runs and interpretation is

bang on. Years ago when I first had the

priviledge of hearing you, I thought was it

possible to play any better. From what I'm

hearing you play these days, the answer is an easy "YES"

    Take care,

    Dave
