Roland talks about TFF's new album "Everybody Loves a Happy Ending" and a "middle-aged man" falling in love with a girl half his age right before the song Call Me Mellow. Nice banter with Curt as well.

  • I read a review that compared the Manila show to Beatlemania. You couldn't hear the band.

  • @csrogc63 It WAS like Beatlemania but luckily we could still hear the band!

  • Awesome footage!! Why did Roland say "ah ah ah, you didn't say the magic word" to Curt? lol that was just sorta random. And I love seeing them interact... and with SMILES on their faces too :D

  • @dirtysouthlepluv Makes you wonder what the magic word was. ;)

  • Nice footage. I liked Roland when he said "We'd like to continue for your pleasure". The fans in Manila were so fortunate to see this special concert. They deserved it because they are a bunch of hardcore and loyal TFF fans.

  • @ajittffcure Thanks! Not only are we hardcore and loyal, we're patient. We waited about 25 years for TFF to come to Manila! They promised it wouldn't be another 25 before they came back.

  • @boracaygirl On that Memories Fade website, there is a quote credited to Curt about the song, saying it's about how middle aged men can see a younger girl and feel attracted but don't do anything about it because she could be their own child's age. Roland says a similar thing on a iTunes clip. So I get the impression the song is more about attraction than an actual relationship.

  • @therese108 Listen to "Secrets" from TFF's 1995 album Raoul & The Kings of Spain. It's about being unfaithful. I think Roland wrote it for his wife asking for forgiveness. He was 34 when the song was released....."Call Me Mellow" was recorded in 2004. Not really sure if Roland or Curt was the "middle-aged man who fell in love w/ a girl half his age"........
