ESP and Jackson are both great guitars
-
@cobraopts7 aahh... no. ltd is nowhere near esp quality. play the 2 guitars and hear for yourself.
-
@retorium funny cause esp has worse quality then ltd
-
@cobraopts7 and you tell me what brand dosent do that?? i think you have to see things in a diferent way. ESP did copy a lot of guitar from other brands becaus they weren't a big brand for that matter.so they just made exacts replicas of gibsons and jacksons (who dosent know that story frome ESP?) and they had a big lawsuit in ther hands... now days they still do the same thing BUT they give it their own touch. and a lot of brands do that too this days aswell. overall, ESP is a good brand

@buckethead30001 tell me one guitar made by esp that wasnt copied from another guitar

@cobraopts7 what brand dosent do that?? onestly tell me?

personally i find myself more of a esp or ltd kinda guy since fender has bought jackson there sounds have lost there balls and the guitars say under 500 dollers just arent any good the esp seems to pump out more quality where even with there budget line haveing good pickups and good construction a 500 doller plus jackson is amazing but to me esp seems to beat them pretty bad at this point

thats a tough one. i love both brands
-
Winner: the V lol

im going to buy a new guitar soon and what whould you buy a ltd v-500 or the jackson rr24???
ESP vs jackson, they are pretty much the same thing, its of a matter of taste. Now, Jackson RR24 vs an ESP Alexi scythe, pretty much the same thing (except for the gainboost). Jackson RR24 vs LTD Alexi 600, Jackson all the way, LTD is a crappier version of ESP and you CAN hear the difference, LTD is made using low end materials (hence the price). RR24 is A LOT more cheaper than the ESP sycthe but it still a pretty sick guitar, so i would give this one to Jackson.

I have tried out many ESP's and Jacksons before I finally got my dream guitar. Somehow, I don't like Jacksons very much. I've compared an ESP SV and a RR Jackson within the same price range and I liked the ESP much more. It somehow felt more smooth and better to play and the sounds was a tad better too. I also like the ESP headstock more then the Jackson
Still, this is only my opinion, my point of view. ESP vs. Jackson? I think there is no real winner, its a personal sense of taste
