I have so much respect for the professionals who, for whatever reason, know that something is misfiring in their bodies and that they won't finish ahead of the pack. But, Ficker and Behe proved themselves to be more than professional endurance athletes; they are Ironmen. It must take a great deal of humility to do what they did in Kona in 2007.
