I found some baby rabbit in my backyard in the rain we took them in apperently they have a fungus :/
its when they loose hair we took them to the vet so they r getting better but what bothers me is how they got it?
-
@joward79 But taking it to the nearest wildlife rescue or vet would involve touching it and bringing it in and apparantly because of that "it will almost certainly die."

once when i was like 12 i was walking near a forest area and i saw 6 baby rabbits on the ground. some of them were dead. the ones that were not dead were really sick and they were rotting. they had maggots inside them and were rotting while still alive

@12318951851084185 if it is a wild rabbit then it needs to be left alone - the mother will not be far away. Do not touch it or bring it in as it will almost certainly die. If you think it is sick or injured then take it to your nearest wildlife rescue or vet.

I have a question. you know since no one is born knowing. lol that's jesus job.. but I was wondering are rabbits rodents?
SuperNumber19 2 years ago
@SuperNumber19 no they are not rodents - they are classed as lagomorphs. But they are very similar to rodents and have open rooted teeth which continually grow. They need to eat lots of hay to keep the teeth short and a healthy gut.

This is a dumb question but do bunnies bite hard or do they even bite u?
Mepo2Mipo 2 years ago 5
Thanks for your comment. Yes bunnies can bite and bite hard! They can break the skin easily as their teeth are sharp and can cause a lot of damage. However, most tame bunnies do not bite.
