  • Nice car! I got a 1989 Dodge Aries Sedan too;] Only 2.2L but its last version, 97hp. I love my little Dodge. Greeting from Poland!

  • @BartekV8 Yes they are good little cars, have fun with yours!

  • 140mph. is that right?

  • no that 140km/h. I'm Canadian, the max MPH on this speedo is 85. The fastest I've gone in it is 115km/h about 70mph. They're not fast car's, 0-60mph in this is about 14-15 seconds, lol.

  • Nice K- I had an 87 that was Quartz Grey

  • cool!

  • @dodgecrazy1970 You may also want to get a computer test. Believe it's called a "DRB 2" test? Gas mileage had dropped in my '86(2.5) as it got older and the test said I'd need an 02 sensor. This was changed and the mileage went back up to where it was years before. Problem was, it would now stall when I backed up. Regretfully I had other "sensors" changed on advice of shop. Result, no more stalling, but mileage back down! By the way, it could do in the area of 100mph. Got a $203 ticket in '93!

  • Not to put a damper on these cars, but, a word of warning. If you notice your coolant "bubbling" in your overflow container, you'll need a new head . Chrysler, in all their cost cutting wisdom, put aluminum heads on cast iron blocks. EXPANSION-COLD-HOT.But you dudes probably already know that. Don't send me bitch posts, I'm just giving you guys a heads up. My first car was an '83 600 and I had an '86 600 SE for several years. Heads can be costly and the temp will never be the same! RUN HOT!

  • @jakesaintsrow123 Two door sedan. See my vid "1986 Dodge Aries LE Manual Shift"

  • @jakesaintsrow123 it has a Mitsubishi...and brother that thing has rarely seen the repair shop. It has wood paneling even though it could use a replacement.

  • coupe,sedan or wagon?

  • does it have the 2.2l engine? or 2.6l Mitsubishi? and does it have the wood Paneling? :D

  • @BartekV8 i have an 82 dodge aries the second year they came out

  • My father thad the stationwagon model and I will tell you this....that thing refused to stop running. It rarely had to betaken to the repair shop, we used it for prettymuch about anything and it simply kept going. We still have it but we now use it mainly to drive around town when having a beer or just going out for a drive...awesome car. Too bad now vehicles are considerably good for 4-5 years

  • cute car. where did u get it the toilet store?

  • @jiggahippo, yup... the 82 Reliant was the best, the '86 and '89 Aries were a bit worse... the '82 was totaled and didn't break down constantly, as well as the fact that it had a nicer interior, cloth seats instead of rubber and they used some nicer materials on the older ones. That one never rolled backwards down a hill, but I'm not sure he ever tried going up any of the same hills when he had it either.

The '86 came with a one speaker AM only radio, rubber seats...
