  • Bridge of Khazad Dum was the most beautiful to me.. I don't know why. A sad orchestra of beautiful instruments floating along with an the voice of an angel...

  • @DecadeMusic2 The Lord of the Rings music will always be the best of the best. In my opinion, of course. As stated in my previous comment reply, I love Hans Zimmer for his versatility and such, but Howard Shore's score/s for The Lord of the Rings trilogy is beyond this world.

  • Brilliant collection!! Would have been perfect had Ennio Morricone's score for Once Upon a Time in the West were included!

  • @93MickyD Yes, I totally agree that Once Upon a Time in the West should have been included, as well as some other scores; Braveheart, for example. I've been thinking about updating this video and make a few changes (like picking another part of the Rain Man score), but then of course I'd have to post a new video and that's why I haven't done it so far.

    Thank you for your comment.

  • Wonderful! A collection of my favorite composers!

  • For an updated version, Lily's Theme by Alexandre Desplat should be added. It makes me cry every time.

  • Road to Perdition always manages to make me cry. I absolutely love the soundtrack.

  • Excellent score list and photos!

    More great pieces....

The Deer Hunter "Cavatina"- Stanley Myers

    Shindlers List- John Williams

  • The Tarzan soundtrack gave me crazy goosebumps.

  • The pictures were nice although nearly all did not match the song. Baring Tarzan, all songs were depressing and using most beautiful is satanical and demonstrates a depraved mind. Out of all of them the only moving song was King Arthur which gives a sense of doing what is right against all odds just because it was the right thing to do. Good movie too.

  • Number 1 should be something from the assassination of jesse James. It is amazing.

  • @Zassiz The Star Wars scores are still my favorites. Thanks in no small part to nostalgia.

Howard Shore blew me away with LOTR though. I barely listened to anything else for months. What an epic masterpiece.

If he isn't scoring The Hobbit I will be very disappointed.

  • wow, some amazing stuff there!

  • i got the chills when i heard the lion king

    &

i got teary eyed when i heard the land before time
