Classic Game Room HD - VEKS AND SILENCE for Xbox 360

Classic Game Room HD reviews Veks and Silence for Xbox 360, available for download from XBLA in the Xbox Live Marketplace under the "indie" games section. Indie!! Oh I love that marketing term, this game is so indie it makes me want to smoke and hang out in expensive, corporate franchise coffee shops. You can fight the man by giving indie companies like Microsoft money to play this game because it's available on their download service. Well, indie or non-indie, Veks and Silence is an over the top, explosive 2D style platformer where you play as a violent anti-hero named Veks who spends his days slaughtering waves of mindless zombies and other enemies. Veks has four weapons to choose from can also power up a Rage meter for temporary invincibility and super-power. This CGR review of Veks and Silence has gameplay from Veks and Silence on XBLA Xbox 360 showing game play from veks and Silence, a 2-D style side scroller with lots of guns and violence. The game is a bit jerky in places, more than it needs to be. But the affordable cost of the game, awesome music and playable controls make it worth a look for side scrolling platformer fans looking for a run and gun shooter.

Great game but sometimes after I die and choose yes to continue, my character silence is stuck in his tracks when I return to gameplay. Does this happen to anyone else?? I can aim and shoot but he can't move. It's like he's stuck in quicksand. When this happens I have to reload the game from my Dashboard. Other than this glitch, I love the game.
