@JRSXXL Here's the difference between socialism and capitalism. Socialism is the kind of system where everyone ens up equally poor, government gives you the job that you don't want, and supports racism. Capitalism, on the other hand, people make enough money to support their wants and needs, the individual gets to choose what career they want to work in, and penalizes all forms of irrationality, including racism.

Capitalism vs. Socialism

They are not causes. They are effects.

Growth is caused by the Agricultural, Industrial, Informational, and other technological revolutions.

Bust is due to assets leaving general circulation. Boom is just the opposite. Neither concept is "married" to Capitalism or Socialism exclusively.

Wealth is proportional to power plants and infrastructure, not asset manipulation, arbitrage, HF trading, property speculation, rent seeking, and buying votes on the corporate tab.
