American Dipper ---
Velcro came from a scientist studying thistle and how it sticks to clothing, this little bird has no hint of getting it's feathers wet as it plays in the water. Learn the secret and make millions on a patent for clothing applications.

Nature is wonderful the way it solves problems..

  • Beautiful video, I showed it to Cindy and she believes it is an American Dipper.

    Nice work!

    Cheers!

  • @PirateJeep thanks, I'm going to Google it

  • @PirateJeep Thanks again, Cindy was right on...

  • Very cute, I think in French this bird is called Pedrix it's from the miniature faisan family I live on Mont Tremblant and I often see them, I will call my friends that live in my neighbourhood to come and check it out too!! Fantastic shots!!

  • @Daridawn thank you, like I said I don't remember ever seeing this bird and it's love of water including the diving under and whatever it was doing on the tree got my curiosity going.

  • Never seen a bird take bits of a tree and put it into its wings like that. Nice video. I don't think anyone knows why dippers "dip" up and down (bob up and down with their legs).
