Just because both tibet and china were under mongol rule does not make tibet part of china. Since ancient time tibet is called tibet and china is called china. If tibet was china then there won't be a need to call tibet a tibet. Should Britain be part of Italy? Should India be part of Britain. Should whole of eastern Europe be part of Mongolia? Conquerors are not native of conquered land. Native people have right to rule themselves. Tibetans want independence and they have rights.
