Clingmans Dome (or Clingman's Dome) is a mountain in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina, in the southeastern United States. At an elevation of 6,643 feet (2,025 m), it is the highest mountain in the Smokies, the highest point in the state of Tennessee, and the highest point along the 2,174-mile (3,499 km) Appalachian Trail. East of the Mississippi River, only Mount Mitchell (6,684 feet / 2,037 metres) and Mount Craig (6,647 feet / 2,026 metres) are higher.

  • 22:00 I am following two ducks down a mountain side river. 24:14 My friend catches a Large Mouth Bass; I believe near a dock by some State University. 27:30 are the Waterfalls that were where? 30:30 we find our way to a Dam where we take the advice of locals and catch our own Crawdad bait; landing smallmouth after smallmouth. 32:30 the road trip is over and I am home in New Jersey playing with my cat.

  • The Hail starts to accumulate at around 7 minutes. Just after 9 minutes all other cars are pulled over on the side of the road. If you pause it at 9:15 or 9:16 a nice bolt of lightning misses us by a few hundred yards. 19:01 we made it to Clingmans Dome, Peak of the Great Smoky Mountains.
