Hyundai Santa Fe 2010 R Series - Offroad Stockton Beach

Took my 2010 Santa Fe Highlander for a run on Stockton Beach. Overall handled the sand / off road driving quite well.
This clip is on the way out heading towards Lavis Lane.

Mate did you have it in lock all the time or not - I hear that the Santy automatically distributes the drive well in sand without lock most times.

@royrubber As this was my first time i did have it locked on the whole time. Since then i've been up a couple more times and had a good "play" with it.

In summary you should,

- let tyres down to 15psi

- turn of TCS

- Take it out of drive and into "tiptronic" & use 1st / 2nd gear ensuring to keep revs in the 2k-3k range. Don't go above 30km/hr with lockon or you'll overheat rear diff.

All-in-all quite a capable vehicle as just watch speed and maintain revs, the engine will pull you through
