This dude was one of the founders, The word hacking did not exist that long, so he just did his thing. Now when you watch this realize that this was hacking, just not the hacking we know nowadays.

@tfreakvids I do not like when kevin talks about the "social engineering" shit. That is NOT hacking. Oh yeah, I'm going to call someone up and ask them to tell me a password because I claim to be in the IT dept. That is merely deception and false pretenses. That has NO DIRECT RELATION to computers or networks. That is only verbal information gathering. Any fucking idiot can do that.

@tfreakvids I agree partially with your statement. I agree that he was not "the best" hacker in the world. However, he was not a dumbass, either. If you watch any of his interviews, he clearly knows something about the phone system. Of course, this does not necessarily qualify him as a true hacker (in the legitimate sense) because phones are not equivalent to computers (even though they bear certain similarities). So, technically, he is more of a "phr34k3r" or something like that.

The fact is that kevin was scared shitless. This is why he took the plea agreement. Otherwise, he probably was facing life behind bars. He wanted to breathe REAL AIR again, so can anyone legitimately blame him for that? Most of you lame ass fucks have probably never even been locked up. So perhaps you should have some idea of what you are going to talk about before you open your fucking mouth.
