From their third studio album, Machine Gun Etiquette. A cover of the MC5 classic. I've put up the Live In Newcastle one as well. Line up on this one is Algy Ward, bass, Dave Vanian, vocals, Rat Scabies, drums and Captain Sensible guitars and keyboards.

  • No disrespect to you kelly14uk,i have been a fan of this band right from the start, when they supported motorhead, excellent song,to me this was the damned at there most aggressive, better that there first album,i loved the black album, strawberiies after that they went way way too commercial and did what the record companies told them to do,eliouse was a good song, but i hated the damned by then,i like em again now cos they have gone back to there roots, anyone care to comment??i collect damned.

  • @skrewdriver1968 I know. After Sensible left, a lot of the personality went. Too dour. Old bootlegs with Sensible on them 80- 84 were great cos of all the rabbit between songs. He was colorful and funny. Great guitar solos. That's why I got into the guitar- cos of him. But

  • @skrewdriver1968 But I like Edward the Bear from the Grimly Fiendish single ( not the lame album version ) . YouTube keep removing it whenever someone puts it up. Impossible to buy. Annoying.

  • Lookin' at you

    such a great version

faster, heavier and more psychedelic than the MC5s

  • @xxBIRDY Prefer this to the original and learned it note for the note on the guitar. It was bloody hard work but worth it. Shepperton too. It's psychedelic. Makes you think : )

  • @MrKatana1100sz Been listening to them since Eloise. I like the way Sensible makes his guitar sound like a train in the westerns @ 02:50 .

  • awesome

  • Apologies everyone. I know the sound quality's a bit old and quiet. It's from an early edition CD.
