Water Main Break Two Blocks Away From my House!!!!

This happened about five hours ago two blocks from my house. Our water has been shut down and people in cars had to be rescued by helicopter. It was intense.

There was a water main break on my friend's street and the road goes down hill. The water supplying half the town came rushing down the roads. It's at about two feet of water now and they're working in rescue boats to get the people in cars out. It's totally insane.

I'm glad they are OK, but from someone trained in basic rescue, this is a perfect example of what NOT to do as a rescuee. When she grabs the basket, she rummages around in the car, throws her kid's backpack in, then her kid. She rummages again, throws her purse in, (almost loses her head) and then climbs in. LOTS of valuable time was wasted and someone could have been killed. Think about your priorities! LEAVE YOUR BAGS AND PURSES BEHIND!!!!!!

dude if you need water we have it, cause we don't have city water. they let school out early cause of it.
