I went on a mission trip to Pittsburgh, PA this summer. We sang this song every day. I can't say this song has changed me...but it had such an impact on some of my friends and the people we served with.

This song sounded good at first, but after listening to it two times a day, six days in a row at mission camp, I'm kind of tired of this song. It still sounds good, though.

He has given us everything freedly so we must go and share the great things God has done and has give to us. He is a God of justice! He is an almighty God! He is great! He is awesome! Lord, I want to serve you because your only begoten son came to this world and served you with all he was and is!!! I want to be filled up by your grace! Dear Lord, I love you so!

@canadianwritingchik Why would he tempt them , knowing perfectly well, what was going to happen. That what we call entrapment.

@tallliza turn our backs on Him, and that there would be consiquences. But He loved us enough to give us free will. I don't know about you, but I don't like being a robot. And it's not like He didn't tell them not to eat the fruit. He gave Adam and Eve fair warning.
Also He created the garden of Eden for man -> so why would He be wanting to kick them out?

@tallliza um.....no. He's like a dad with His children (seeing as He made man in His image). He wanted them to live in peace and be happy and perfect. He gave us free will knowing full well we could use it to spit in His face and turn our backs on Him. It would also mean that spiritual laws (like physical laws ie gravity, they can't be broken) would demand our death for imperfection. However God did not want robots. I'm sure you don't want to be a robot. Yes He knew we would spit on HIs face and

@soccersnack1220 and the punishment is death because God told Adam and Eve if they sinned then they would die... Why did he say that. HE KNEW what was goingto happen. He is the perfect SADIST. He wanted them out of the garden of Eden, but he didn`t have the guts to tell them. So he invented a silly scheme.

@tallliza "If god cannot stand sin, he cannot be perfect." why can't he be perfect if he can't stand sin? and the punishment is death because God told Adam and Eve if they sinned then they would die. Plain and simple. Then, they did sin. Ya know what God did? He promised a way out of spending eternity in hell. I'd say that is pretty just yet loving at the same time. Justice: we all die. Loving: we can still be with Him for eternity
perfect.. we must go go//!!
continu..keep giong our mission..

@ SurfJuJu888...I just came back from Monadnock! I fell in LOVE with this song. I had to Youtube it when I got home. I am going to see if my Youth Band will do this song. This is one I want to sing 24/7. Such a beautiful place. Such a beautiful song. Such a beautiful God!
