those books are the best damn thing on DC these days... hope they dont screw blackest night up on making it an ambitious mega event thats all over the place but ultimately nothing good (i.e. infinite Crisis)

Whatever was whack. It left me very curious. The end I thought was what I was hoping for Morrison to pull off in RIP book to book.
I am gonna start on Walking Dead. I've just heard too many good things.
Blackest Night will help make 2009 great.
If anybody likes Friday the 13th btw, the movie rocked! Not a fan, probably not worth seeing.

Whatever happened to the Caped Crusader is on par with Morisson's brilliant Batman R.I.P/Final Crisis. Peter Tomasi with the Mighty, Nightwing, Batman and the Outsiders, and GLC is one of the best writers in comics now. Can't believe u didn't review Thor 600 and Batman and the Outsiders special!

I lost interest in Batman and the Outsiders during R.I.P. Had I known Tomasi was going to go red-hot on the writing skills, I'd have kept ordering anything with his name on it.

carig, can i skip some issue of GLC before reading GLC wars? or I need to read all 13?

It's definitely worth reading all of them. I don't think you're going to be lost if you skip ahead, but you'll miss some good storytelling.
