Diablo III (Beta) - Witch Doctor part 1

In this video I create a Witch Doctor and set out to defeat the Skeleton King. I'll show off the character creation screen and get right to the combat and quest line. This is the first of a 3 part series in which the beta is completed.

Do you comment as you play or do you lay a commentary track over the video as you watch it yourself?

@creiij I just play, then I pull all the fraps clips into Sony Vegas and edit, then I watch it and give commentary as I watch. So it's post game review commentary.

@hankehenry Yes there is a cursor, I set Fraps to not show a cursor when recording, so that's why you don't see one in the videos.

things I'm nervous about regarding D3: the classes- they seem boring. the monk is silly- fighting with his hands, a "wizard" is too harry potter, this voodoo guy is totally anachronistic. the third person view- I don't know if it will successfully make the leap from the excellent 1st person/moveable view offered in WoW to this more restricted view invented in the 90's because of graphic limitation.

Do the requirments for this game require a little less then for WoW? Cuz WoW is a HUGE world and what not. And the graphics in WoW can be really intense.

@Kazumaster the art is different indeed, it's more look a painting, but very grim painting with very climatic light effects. I seriously don't know where your problem is - one guy was comparing D2 and D3, and apprently D3 is much more darker. Just becuase there are more colour variations doesn't mean it's not dark and grim. Tristram town gates are covered in blood, monster are approaching you from the darkness, and there are some great visual eefects, not to mention npcs are more active.
