Expectations [Zashley/Taylena Story] preview.

Heart racing and hands shaking the young woman held the pregnancy test up. Positive. No, this couldn't be happening to her, not right now. It was the worst time for her to get pregnant. Not only because she had just turned seventeen years old, but because her parents were going through a rough path in their relationship.

It wasn't so long ago that her mother, Ashley Efron, had found out that her father, Zac Efron, had been having an affair with one of his skanky secretaries. Selena shook her head and sighed, bringing her face in her hands. She stood up from the toilet seat and walked to the door, not before hiding the pregnancy test behind the toilet seat, making sure that it wasn't visible. She walked out the bathroom and towards her room.

While she made her way towards her room, as she passed, she heard soft cries coming from the master bedroom, aka her parent's room. Technically it was only her mother's room now that her father hadn't been at the house for the past few days. Selena shook her head and sighed. She opened her door and closed it softly behind her, not wanting to alarm her mother.

She threw herself on the bed, pulling out her cellphone from her bottom drawer. She had locked it away in there not wanting to be disturbed by any of her friends, which were probably calling her by now wanting to know the results of her pregnancy test.

Selena pressed the speed dial number for the person that she had so often called for the past few months. She took deep breaths as she waited for the person to answer. Finally she heard a sound from the other line, "Taylor?" she asked into the phone, speaking softly.

"Yes, baby. What's wrong?", she heard the husky yet gentle voice from the other side.

"A lot", she simply responded, letting the tears stream down her pale skin.

What do you guys think? Here is a basic plot of the story:

Ashley and Zac are married. Recently their marriage was going through a rocky path. They had been constantly fighting and felt like they were falling apart. Selena is their daughter, the reason why they got married in the first place. Selena found a way of coping with her parents' broken marriage by involving herself in tough situations, resulting in an unplanned pregnancy. Now it's time to sort out the mess and reach the expectations everyone had set up for themselves since the beginning.

• Remember this was just a little preview, if I do start the story, it will start differently... kind of from the beginning of where everything started going downhill.
