To Tattoo or Not to Tattoo-Rebellion is as the Sin of Witchcraft.

Tattooing was born out of mans rebellion against and all Holy God, and is a transgression against His commandments to His people. Should a born again Christian get tattooed? Most certainly not.
Is it a forgiveable transgression? Yes most certainly, if forgiveness is asked of Him with a repentant heart.
Tattoos will not keep you out of Heaven, but Pride and Rebellion will send you to Hell.

intresting it also says in leviticus that same chapter that we should not eat Meat with blood in it because this is aginst God so if tattooing is aginst God then steak is too. also you refered to the body is the temple of the holy spirit but the context of that scripture was dealing with sexual imorality not tattooing matt 15:19 ForOUT OF THE HEARTproceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: Rebellion is a heart issue

not a tattoo issue.

@joshuavillela Tattoos are an outward manifestation of an inward issue. They have been made a fashion fad, by the world, something the children of God are to have nothing to do with. It is not the tattoo that is the problem, as you said it is a heart issue.

I have tattoos and piercings, but I am also saved. I didn't get them because I am godless or a heathen. I also didn't get them to be "trendy" or to rebel.

Leviticus is Old Testament. I know that you are only reading what God has said. But do not judge people. Don't think a tattoo is gonna send you to Hell. Not accepting Christ as your Lord and Savior AND following ALL His commands will do that.

@stansell1 -Tattooing is a modern trend, accepted by all these days, but as I have showed, has pagan roots, and and was done out of rebellion by a lot of young people.... the rebellion and the wanting to be like the world is what is troubling to me...

I have many friends who have tatoos and love Jesus Christ with all their heart, and you can clearly see the fruit the Holy Spirit in their lives. They reflect the character of Christ.

What's most important is that you do what God tells you do. We don't live by Old Covenant rules, which was done away with when Christ died. We live by His commands. Check out Colossians 2.

Love Jesus Christ and do whatever you please. Because if you love Him, you'll never do what displeases Him. Trust and obey.

The biggest problem in the body of christ today is that many pick and choose which commandments to obey, rather than submitting themselves fully to the will of God as set forth in his word. The church has been lied to, told that the so called old testament is done away with, when Jesus himself made it very clear that not one jot or tittle of the law would pass away until heaven and earth dissappear. We should obey the Father, just as Jesus did as an example for us.

@ScottStedford14 -Anyone with tatoos can be found of Christ, and He washes them clean, and although they may bear the marks for the rest of their lives, their rebellion has been forgiven, and they have been cleansed. I stand by what I share in this video, and I love the saints of God, and have great sorrow for the lost.

salt and light often offend decay and darkness.

i used to practice spells and chants. you can come out of what you are in.

until you decide that you want to change you will stay right where you are.
