basic concept of the coloring: they all have troubles that are draining the color from their worlds. but they all still have hope and sometimes the color (hope) returns for brief periods of time. in the end, their hope beats their troubles and the color returns to their lives as they think of everything that is good.
crappy, yes. but it's just what was running through my head while i made it. but feel free to make your own reasoning. (:
