@charlydk Interesting is the fact that confortably numb solo was rated number one solo (of 50) of ALL TIME!
I never took too seriously what such a comercial midia (magazine, TV show or such) say. Grammy never reward good musicians, just the ones that are somewhat produced by those that "sponsors" the award...
Never saw a GREAT musician there...

@anteturban Well... i was fascinated by Gilmour... if you try to play like him, you'll see his style is more artisan than technical. He said in an interview that he feel limited as guitar player (or something like that). I mean, he's very good, but his merit is to did that extrange cosmic cold approach to the blues. Pink Floyd melt progressive with blues with rock, in a time where there was a big gap to be filled in the popular music.

One thing that I love about Dave is that he's so unassuming.....he looks like someone's grandpa that went out to the store for a loaf of bread, but on the way back stopped by and put on a concert and blew people's minds.
