you ignored many parts of the story, in order to create the false impression that the myth advocates trickery.
you should have read the jewish interpretations of that fable, before interpreting it yourself, as your opinion on the subject, is irrelevant.
Do you really imagine jews as a group of people who's top value is to trick others? this is pure racism. jews are probably the people with the widest opinion variety, do you seriously think we all believe in a top value like this?

first of all, you refer to the bible as a historical document, when it is not. the bible is historically biased and filled with myths and legends. and therefor, cannot be used as a historical document.
second, the story about Jacob is a fable and a legend. you could equally say that the story about David and Bathsheba advocates cheating.
