  • Is this legal?

  • @fortells

Yes, it is allowed on ebay. All you're doing when sniping is waiting until the end of the auction to bid. A sniping service just makes it more convenient for you, as you don't need to be at your computer when the auction ends, to place your bid. You just schedule your snipe and hidbid takes care of the bidding.

Sniping is not against ebay rules, all you're doing is waiting until the last few seconds to place your bid. If you had the time, you could do it manually. An automated service like hidbid makes it much easier however.

  • hi there firstly i would like to thank you for the great video! and i'm slightly having a lil problem about this site and that's for the 1st time i placed a snipe bidding just few mins ago on this site after watching your video. Sadly after bidding the max bid its taking forever for the status to be high i mean it's still waiting waiting waiting waiting its' just really annoying it's taking way 22222long. i've checkd out da F.A.Q. but no help.:( plz could you suggest me something kindly plz.

I think you're wondering why your snipe that you set up is showing the hourglass symbolizing 'waiting' as the status on your 'my snipes' page?

If so, it will remain like that until your snipe is executed, and then the status will be updated to 'won' or 'lost'. So, it's waiting to execute your snipe.

If you're wondering why your bid has not been placed, it will not be placed until the last few seconds of the auction.

If that doesn't answer your question, please further explain.

Just go to hidbid.com and sign up. You get 5 free snipes per week which should be enough for most people. If you need more, you can subscribe for $7/month.

  • EBAY SUCKS, THEY DONT PROTECT THE SELLERS ANYMORE

  • where do i buy the snipe

  • @0122521088

Yes, the highest bid wins, sniping is more of a convenience for people who don't want to attract attention to an item by bidding early as more attention usually means a higher final price.

Some bidders will bid in very small amounts over and over trying to win at the lowest possible price. If you snipe, you avoid having bidders do after your bid has been placed.
