Steven Lee Group performing "Friday Night" at Red Rock Casino

Currently performing every Sunday night at The Rocks Lounge inside the Red Rock Casino, The Steven Lee group is doing all they can to add to the resurgence of the jazz scene in Las Vegas. Originally in residence at the Allegro Lounge inside the Bellagio (until it closed), this group has been putting out "jazz with an edge" for close to a decade. Most members of Steven Lee's group also perform in shows or with other groups "for a living." When in this configuration, it's obvious they come to play! Sax man Rocco Barbato is a whirling dervish of positive energy. Lee, on guitar and vocals, bassist Rochon Westmorland, drummer Joey Finger, and keyboardist Billy Tragessor form a cohesive groove unit. Steven also features guests artists. This week showcased Michelle Johnson and Tony Davitch and they didn't disappoint. If last Sunday's crowd response was any indication, this band will be grooving in Vegas for many years to come.
