Police Officer Had Sex with Woman on the Hood of a Car

A New Mexico television station has obtained a surveillance photo of Officer Bert Lopez performing sex acts on a woman on the hood of a car in broad daylight.

In the photo taken at Santa Fe Canyon Ranch, Officer Bert Lopez can be seen still wearing his full uniform, including his utility belt.

Officer Bert Lopez has been honored once as New Mexico State Police Officer of the Year and received an commendation as having gone above and beyond the call of duty. (It's true!)

Now, he's on paid administrative leave and facing possible disciplinary action for an incident that has caused embarrassment to the department.

Police confirmed that an internal investigation has been completed and that the officer has been on paid leave for the past several weeks.

I think people need to consider this guy make not have actually been a cop. He may be dressed up as a cop, but until something more is known, we shouldn't assume that just because he is wearing (what would be) a $30 costume he is actually a cop.
