Now that I checked back through my personal archives, Behdoc, Wyanetta was not on that three month coast-to-coast tour, which ended in June, '63. But Motown did keep her on at Hitsville whenever the Marvelettes were in town doing some recordings. It was officially stated in the records that Wyanetta formal release date from Motown contractual obligations was December 31,1963. We all know she stopped touring and local performing on March 31, 1962.

Quite right, ioxxd90. The Marvelettes had a real problem with "keeping up" with the tempo. If you listen carefully, you can hear Georgeanna and Wyantta having a problem with the tempo.

I think they did those songs faster because of the energy of the live shows!!!!

the live versions are a bit faster than the recordings.. faster is better for this song imo :) loves it

The live version of a song is frequently more fast paced then the almbum cut
