Steve Earle & bluegras dukes playing the beatles song "I'm looking through you" at the Tønder festival in Denmark 27th of August 2006. Awesome show and Steve Earle walked around the festival area before and after the show and visited with people and seemed to enjoy the festival.

  • Very cool!

  • Agree - have always felt this song had a strong country/bluegrass undertone. But a lot of Beatles songs do. They're just so good at hiding that in their style.

  • Train-A-Comin, anybody got anybody more songs from that, esp with Peter Rowan, Emmilou, and the great Norman Blake, I know I saw them together at Merlefest so post on, thanks

  • Tim saved this song

  • I was listening to this on the CD "Train a-Comin" in the car today. I love Steve's interpretation of this song.

  • Your King George created this mess by deregulating Wall Street. Why don't any of you neo-con scum admit that. Those are the facts. Obama is trying to unravel a mess created by two terms of REPUBLICAN FASCIST agenda.

And good luck with Palin in 2012. F*cking jokers

  • This take makes you realize how important the backup vocals are to the song's overall appeal. It really lacks without the full harmonies.

  • yep. the guy just sounds drunk on a 6 pack :)) i mean no harm, just observing 's all...

  • what does that mean?

    like pack of beer voice

is it a beer belly comment>?

  • Steve's own musica and ANY collaborations he does are PURE GOLD - the man can do no wrong!! As much as I love Springsteen, Cash... and of course Townes, Steve is the BEST, hands down. Much respect for YOU, MAESTRO!
