"Jesus Christ failed miserably in evangelism." At least that is what you will get if you ask the pragmatic "seeker sensitive" movement. This clip by Charles Spurgeon and Mark Kielar shows exactly why the methods used by the modern "church" are contradictory to what Jesus set forth as the right way to evangelize the lost.

  • LaneCh, I just wanted to leave a comment to express my personal appreciation for the awesome videos you have. I "Use your stuff" all the time in the 3D world of Kaneva and especially appreciate the Paul Washer ones; I truely admire your and his passion. Thank You!

This IS a good ministry and while you may not veiw it as such; trust me, it matters!

  • Glad to hear that! It's such an encouragement! Thanks!

  • WOW...so true!

Jesus' first words when He began to preach was "Repent, for the kindom of heaven is at hand" (Matt. 4:17), not "are you ready to rock?!?" Unless we acknowledge our own sin, there will never be true conversion. Rock concerts, basketball courts and pizza is not going to save someone.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven."

  • Which writing of Spurgeon is this?

  • @LaneCh Link seems to not be available

  • @churchofgrace Amen. God never changes.

  • @didgodsaythat Yes. God has preserved His written Word.

  • @geedup415 Amen.

  • @maggiblue It didn't sound all alike to Charles.

  • I can only use "hip-hop" language in responding to this, "Yes, Yes y'all, ye Don't Stop"

  • my heart cries out for the church today.. But what can I do? It's quite hard, all I can do is cry out to God to open the eyes of His people... no longer is the word preached enough, nor do Christians really desire to make disciples... specially of all nations.... just heart breaking

  • Spurgeon didn't even like my religion, but it doesn't go both ways because I've always, always thoroughly loved every sermon he ever gave.
