JUST MISSED!!! As stated above "Little Devil" just missed making the Billboard's Top 10 chart; it peaked at No. 11 and spent a total of 9 weeks in the Hot Top 100 in 1961...

We have heard his songs on the radio and they had some impact on us and on music; maybe without us even realizing it

Great Neil !

Neil Sedaka was a very talented performer and songwriter. But he was part of the sanitization of rock/pop music, by the record industry, in the late 50's and early 60's. These record executives were looking for a way to tame rock's image after Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard and Elvis and all of their gyrations and shenanigans. I love this period in time because it set the stage for something BIG to hit and that something was the Beatles in 1964. Good times!

@InSenseAround Underdog? Underdog in your opinion. Show me the songs you've sung and the money you've made. How many people know your name compared to Neil's?

@auaiao9 Everyone loves an underdog. Over-rated, pay to play drivel.
