I wrote this song Spring of '08 for the American Idol Songwriter's competition... You had to be 18 to enter, but I tried anyway. This was recorded Spring '09 by the Awesome Haylie Long who is also playing Bass and "Drumset." The Fantastic Cello is none other than Kerrine Gifford. and the Piano and Voice is Me, If you haven't already guessed.
V1: It's been a long, long road
but I haven't been alone
I've been singing from the heart
and I've been living on the go.
I've been praying to stand strong
when the gossip calls my name
As I wet my feet, in the waters of fame.
Chorus: I know that I am on my way to a beautiful sky,
I know that I am on the rightful path,
So I'll spread my wings and fly.
I want to make the world a better place for me and for you and now I know that anything is possible,
and dreams do come true
V2: I remember when I was scared, when I walked upon this stage.
Fearful of rejection at such a young age,
And I know it won't be easy, as I stumble through the dark,
but all My newfound friends are with me, as I turn on the mic and start.

and no matter what Happens tonight I'll sing from my heart,

This is AMAZING!!! You should sell this or something, I mean it. You have an awesome voice and you have awesome people to work with, if they can produce sound like that. I wish you a wonderful future as a songwriter.
