  • classic nba is dying

  • I wish he would come back , one of the greatest men to ever lead a basketball association. Think about it sloan did things that were unprecedented. Him ever not winning one , is something in the saddest nature. But he will be one of the greatest

  • @SacAttacK95 phil jackson had literally the best player of all time, a close second, and 90's-early 00's shaq. You are an idiot. Sloan got to the finals twice with Stockton and Malone, more than 99% of coaches in history can say. Give him some credit. It's a shame he didn't win one.

  • is this the same jerry sloan that benched deron williams half his rookie year in favor of keith mccloud? imagine if it was kobe or lebron they have egos 5 times as big as derons stop blaiming the guy for sloans departure utah has always seemed content with just being a good team that drove deron crazy im glad to see him go as a jazz fan he deserves better and has 2 much talent to waste in utah with a team who is ok with being just good

  • Wont forget ya Jerry!

  • @AKIZO1118 You ever heard of a guy named Karl Malone? How about John Stockton? Two of the best players in the history of the game at their respective positions.

  • That's because Phil had MJ ,Shaq and Kobe.

Jerry had been a coach for 23 years with no superstars.

    I miss him.

  • I've had the privilege & honor of meeting Jerry Sloan. I lived in his hometown for a number of years, & this is one of the nicest, funniest & down to earth guys ever. You wouldn't know that he's a celebrity when you meet him. He's a great guy & has had a lot of success with this organization over the years & I wish him the best of luck. Maybe he'll get to enjoy that beautiful home in Il that he & his late wife had built.
