Hurricane Jeanne - Port St.Lucie, FL - September 25, 2004

This is my Hurricane Jeanne chase video. The footage was taken during Jeanne's landfall on the East-central Florida coast in Port St. Lucie. Unfortunately, with a nighttime landfall, after the power failed, there is virtually no discernable video during the peak of the storm. However, the audio of the winds howling is great. Frogs can be heard croaking loudly during the extended dead calm of the eye. Peak winds occur during the second half of the storm, and are near 85mph with gusts to 105mph.
