Beekeepers Busy Harvesting Honey in Ontario

Here are three and a half beekeepers working hard on a real hot summer day in July 2010. The team has already gone about and set off the honey supers atop the beehives. They use bee smokers and smoke them out of the comb. Now the eldest beekeeper will strap on the leaf blower and blow the clusters of clumping bees out of the supers, at which point younger members of the squad will load them on the truck. But not yet - this is the calm before the storm.
