Treadmill motor as windmill generator Permanent magnet dc motor output test

A no bull test of a Reliance DC motor generation capability.

A lot of people use this type of motor for DIY wind and hydro projects. There is so much bad information out there I decided to to a NO BULL test on all Permanent magnet motors I will be selling. Other sellers give you the motor information from the tag, links to bad information, and pie in the sky generating information to help them sell motors.
I sell with NO BULL. My numbers are lower because they are real.

I will be doing this test on many treadmill motors as well so check my channel often or subscribe.

The tag on this motor: Reliance, 1/4HP, 1725 RPM, 90V, 2.8 amps, 29 peak amps, continuous duty.
