A set of H5 subway cars is seen heading southbound towards Union Station at St. Andrew Station at King St. and University Ave. This set is led by 5788. All of these H5 series cars are expected to be retired upon full service on the Yonge-University-Spadina by the Toronto Rockets. They will unlikely see the opening of the Spadina Subway extension.
For more information on the H5 series cars, visit Transit Toronto or the CPTDB wiki.
So is it true that all of the entire H-series cars are also expected to be retired upon full service on the Yonge-University-Spadina by the Toronto Rockets too, which meaning that any of those older H-series subway cars will unlikely see the opening of the Spadina Subway extension?
