Today we are expected to give respect to religion even if we do not believe it. Laws have been introduced that curb our freedom of speech and paint us as racist even if we are just giving no respect to a foreign religion. We tread on egg shells so that we do not dis-respect, even if no respect is deserved! ... Peace to you! ...from an unrespected atheist!

when people say there is no god,its just ones individual perception of what god is,if you think he/she/it to be a spook in the sky you can,t see with the physical eye who controls all events or a universe size concioussness of energy,theres as many interpretations of god as there is individuals thinking about it,my point just being,if you don,t believe,you only don,t believe in your own perception of what god is nothing more = ( you are the master who makes the grass green)

@ZaBadger actually, Douglas Adams explains at some point why he decided not to be an agnostic but an atheist. I read that in "The salmon of doubt", I guess that was one of the interviews, maybe even this one (I haven't listened yet, I will later ^^)

@Darwinsgift its called respect. do you practice it? its called tolerance. if you think you have the right to disrespect people then you truly are an atheist. and your just proving that you do need religion as a moral compass in your life. because if it were left up to you? smh..............

I wish people could just learn to spell correctly W/O using spell check, and having enough CONscience while they rant and rave to use enough of their brain to realize they just typed something wrong, back up, and correct it ..before hitting SEND!

You fail to understand that we are limited by our physical bodies as to what we can observe. We haven't discovered life anywhere else because we have only been able to observe a very limited portion of or universe. That we still discover new forms of life on earth, it should be simple to understand we are not even capable of knowing if there is life on a planet we don't know even exists.

Scientists know the limits of our abilities, why don't you?
