i have one of these bad boys and i can attest to it's power. i buried a 22" bolt all the way to the nock into a 20" target from 75 yards. these things have exceptional penetrative power. This is very believable

@akingsley200 I own one of these(2011 model) as well as other crossbows and this shot is do- able if he has a good scope no wind and is a great shooter...FPS X arrow grains = Kenitic energy...this bow hits extremely hard compared to my other bows.but i had to do a lot of tweaking to zero mine in..

@brandon81250 I had the same problem you had and was very pissed..the probem was not the scope it was the weaver rail not being lined up with the arrow track... My weaver rail was pointing to the left ..so i took it appart and noticed the firing assembly was not fitting tightly,and i could move with my thumb,so i lined it up with thin metal shims and tightened to the max...it was a pain to tweak,but now its dead on at 10-50 yards...I will try longer shots soon,just ran out of space in backyard

for all of you that thinks this is fake.You are dead wrong...I have had several xbows in my life and the difference between a 150lb recurve and a 175lb compound xbow like the pedator is night and day..The more fps the more distance and penetration just like with fire arms..

I just got a barnett jackal at 315 fps its a beast....back in 2000 barnetts most powerful crossbow was the quad 300 which produced 310-315 fps... I have always loved crossbows and had a few cheap ones,but todays crossbows are beasts...does anyone know how much the new barnett ghost bolt drops?...Mine at 315 fps drops appox 10 inches after 30 yards to the 40 yard mark...
