selling out doesn't mean jackshit. as long as the music is good to your ears, it shouldn't matter. i can only agree with half of what you said though, i think no one should let money&fame interfere with anything artistic such as music. but just because a band has a big fan base, or signed on a popular label and making money, it doesn't mean they sold out if they're still making good music to your ears....idk just using rational thinking ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
