"Cyrus" (ADOPTED!) Our Beautiful Foxhound Jumping for Cookies...

Want to Donate? Go to http://www.dawg-rescue.org/donate.htm. Cyrus' (Adopted!) owner approached us at a recent adoption show and said he was going to "dump" Cyrus if we didn't take him. What could we do but take him? And we're glad we did, because this wonderful, wonderful dog deserves a life and certainly would have been euthanized at the shelter (owner surrenders tend to be put down first when shelters are full).

So Cyrus' life has started another chapter. He's so new we can't say much about him other than he seems remarkably sweet and calm for his youth. He is also gentle. Those eyes have a lot to say, don't they?

That is a beautiful foxhound one day i hope to have enough money to have a great dog like that but im only 15 so it will probably be a while

I had a foxhound growing up and she was the sweetest most lovable dog I've ever met. Never snapped, bit or growled at anyone.  When my nephew was learning how to crawl and walk she constantly had a foot in her face and stomach or had her tail being yanked on. She never once showed any aggression towards him. I'd adopt him if our lease allowed!
