Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - boss fight: Berserker Lord

BOSS FIGHT #1: Berserker Lord
Difficulty: Normal

Strategy:
Begin by taking out the 2 glowing orbs on his shoulder joints. After doing so he will unleash any of the following 4 attacks:

1. Sweeping Beam - This is the blue beam you see him sweeping across the floor, simply jump over it to avoid taking damage.

2. Acid Spit - Avoid this by moving to the left or right.

3. Fireball - This is the red glowing charge-up attack that he hits me with, you can dodge this pretty easily by moving left or right.

4. Projectile Balls - These are the purple balls you see him shoot out of his mouth, they are also the key to beating him. Shoot these while they are flying toward you to reflect them back at him, damaging the armor plating on his head.

Once his head is exposed, simply unload on him and he will die very quickly.

sort of pitiful, later ghor kills a beserker lord in 2 strikes, but samus and the game are still beast!

I think that the Berserker Pirates were based on the Elite Pirate project back on Tallon 4 cause they DO share a few caracteristics. Since Samus destroyed most research, they had to make quite a few modifications.
