Wait, does that mean that their first amendment right can be effectively denied in this kind of scenario? How did that happen?

  • @123IOWNALL321 Its a RULE. In order to have any type of event in the city, you need to file for a PERMIT. Its an easy process that everyone follows. Its in place so that multiple organizations dont just start randomly using public ways. It also has a deposit feel attached so that in the event that damage happens to private or public property, it gets paid for. The occupy movement NEVER paid for a permit or a deposit for damages. I have no idea how this area will be fixed without proper funds.

Why should they need a permit to practice their first amendment right?...

  • @mdnn7778 do you have a job to give?

  • The people they are against are giving them Free electricity,Free security(B.P.D) and Free rent (Public land). The B.P.D. and Mayor Menino have treated these protesters rather well all things considered. They say yea we have some bad people in here Drug, Alcohol addicts ect. and claim thats just a percent you would find anywhere. So there are some bad cops too. but its just a percent youd find that anywhere. RIGHT???? Both sides MUST work together for this to work. Otherwise either side loses.

  • look, you can either live within your means and take a job like working at mcdonalds, dont worry, it isnt beneath you to do that, i know a lawyer that is having to take extra work at a home improvement store, or you can whine and accomplish nothing in life

  • losers. start a PAC, campaign, or use the courts. grow up.

  • @scootsie119 @shawnbrennan1 @gmco4 they also likely have families with homes that they could probably sleep in as well, most of the people that appear to be spoiled and whatnot could once afford material items like that, and now have lost their jobs and can only afford the cheapest of living arrangements. so they might as well live in a public areas as that's what the homeless have done anyway. the increasing number of people being forced into that situation is what the protests are about.

  • @mdnn7778 they are in the tents because there are 5 unemployed people for every available job, fuckwad

  • The Occupy Movement is the result of an angry nation and a plan. The plan was to create civil unrest so laws will be changed to favor the government. So they hired a revolution contrator named Otpor/Canvas. They had a great resume including all of the Arab Spring movements. Who knew you could hire somebody for that? The Occupy Movement is following their M.O. completely including the "fist up" logo. Whoever hired them is the real reason for this movement..... I wonder who it is?
