did you JUST tell me that John Lennon sang the middle, uplifting piano section in A Day in the Life specifically the lyrics "Found my coat . . . ???
i love it when people correct me with wrong facts :-)
Paul McCartney sings the middle section piano tune for this song, not only does the voice sound like Paul, he's mentioned in countless interviews that John told him to sing the middle part of this song

but in this video (a other live concerts he did) Paul keeps forgetting the lyrics and says "Found the bus in seconds flat, found the bus in seconds flat"
