  • Sure this video is not from the 60s/early70s? The Kingston Bridge was built then, and the ring road plan was abandoned shortly after

  • @ABSOLUTgarbage You're right, this is a clip from "Glasgow 1980", a film made in 1971 about "future" Glasgow.

  • The kingston Bridge is still sinking , you can tell this by driving over it frequently , the bumps get harder.

  • 1971, 1980, 2011 - the place is still a dump.

  • Fucking didn't work. Still getting worked on now and still means more cars. Should have kept and updated the Trams like every other city in the world that wants a decent transport system. At least could have integrated transport tickets. A disgrace Glasgow is. Used to show the world how it was done. Still do i suppose. It's called, 'The Riverside Museum'! Whoo Hoo!
