1 My Introduction to Desteni. WTF!!!!

Gian: So Leila, How did you come to Desteni? Leila: Well, on the weekend of my birthday I was doing some research on the Internet about Wilhelm Reich and Orgone Energy. And then I came across a video of someone claiming to be that person. So I was like, Okay, Ill watch it. And, my first Impression as like, WTF, What the Hell is this? This fourteen year old boy claiming to be this person and just talking and talking. So, I was like, okay, this is just plain weird. And, because what they were saying kind of intrigued me, I went to check out their Channel and I saw that they at that time had about 600 videos. So then I was like, okay, someone thats faking is not gonna make 500 videos or more and upload at least one or two every day. So, I was like, maybe I can watch a bit more, you know, see what comes up. And so I started watching more videos and more and more and I found out that shes not actually a boy, but shes a girl, shes 22, not 14...And what they were saying actually made sense. And the more I would watch the videos the more it would make sense. Then, when I was sure that this is what, no, lets not say like, but, it was something Valid in my World, I shared it with my brother and my sister. They saw all the videos and we were into Desteni. Then I joined the Forum, discussed stuff with people, went to the Private Forum. While I was watching the Desteni videos and going through the material, I was still at school. And now what was interesting is that I actually got more Effective at what I was doing at school. Now my school was an Art High School, so from a certain perspective it was more free in what I was able to do as in making artwork and writing essays and all of that stuff. So then I would slowly but surely incorporate all the Desteni material in whatever I would do, because it kind of became my life, from the perspective of, this is what Im doing, this is what Im applying, this is what is supporting me. And the results were pretty cool because, for instance, I stopped postponing stuff, I got more disciplined, I would actually enjoy working on my projects because it was something I was interested in. Then, at one point, I think it was at the end of, ja, the end of school year I didnt know what to do, it was my last year of high school, and I discussed it on the chat on the Private Forum of the Desteni website and they were like okay, well why dont you just come and visit us and see what happens, maybe, you know, something opens up. So then, in August last year I went to visit the farm.

@SimulacronX - Don't worry, I can clear up all your assumptions, as I have been living on the Farm with Bernard & The Portal for the past 2 years. They are not insane or schizophrenic - just normal people like you and me - that stand by a Principle. I can assure you that everything is very normal and anything that has been claimed otherwise is just people their imagination running crazy.

@LeilaZamoraMoreno Thanks for your answer.However-standing by a (or two etc.) principle can be nice, but various people all behaving and telling quite the same is a sign of an unhealthy behaviour to me,because venerating one big principle of basic morality (like equality) in the beginning suits everyone,but automatically represses their critical reflexes.Because it's "do it or die", like a member said to me.I don't know if it's positive thing to do.This dedication can lead a loss of personality

@SimulacronX - what you just said can be applied to anything or anyone - as in - if you do not conform to society = you are labeled as a 'cult' or a 'cult member'. That is a point of 'loss of personality' as well - where if you do not conform and 'act' a certain way = you will become an outcast. You might have noticed, there are a whole lot of people that say the same thing you just said on YouTube - So who and what is the Real Cult?

1)@LeilaZamoraMoreno Sure,we are all influenced and manipulated to a certain extent.But in totalitarian groups,where what I mentioned before happens,when you are not allowed to express critical feelings,where you have to shave your hair (not talking specifically about Desteni),to re-arrange vocabulary,where certain keywords are repeated over and over again,you lose a bit of what makes you your own very self,what makes you LeilaZamoraMoreno.
